Decibel Cannabis Company Inc., a premium cannabis producer and retailer, is pleased to announce the promotion of Kris Newell to the recently created position of Chief Operating Officer, effective as of today. In this role, Kris will be responsible for overseeing the management of Decibel’s two licensed cannabis cultivation facilities, as well as its cannabis processing facility.
“Kris has demonstrated a strong ability to identify, coordinate and successfully implement positive change throughout Decibel’s operations,” said Cody Church, Interim CEO of Decibel. “We are excited to benefit from Kris’ leadership as we ramp up operations at our larger indoor craft Thunderchild Cultivation facility, significantly increasing our production of the ultra-premium Qwest Reserve product line and the premium Qwest flower and pre-roll products.”

Thunderchild Cultivation, is a licensed and operating 80,000 square foot indoor cultivation facility in Battleford, SK. The Plant, Decibel’s extraction facility, in Calgary, AB has 15,000 square feet of Health Canada licensed extraction and product development space. This production house will fuel the growth of our brands Qwest, Qwest Reserve, and Blendcraft, into new and innovative product formats like concentrates, vapes, edibles and beyond.
