Grow Up, the leading cannabis cultivation conference and expo in Canada, is delighted to announce that voting for the 2024 Grow Up Industry Awards Gala is now open. This prestigious event is scheduled for May 27, 2024, at The Vue Event Venue in Etobicoke, ON, and is anticipated to be a stellar night celebrating the brightest in the cannabis industry.
“We’re thrilled to host our 5th Industry Awards, an evening that not only recognizes the significant achievements within our community but also serves as a vital networking opportunity for industry leaders,” said Randy Rowe, President and CEO of Grow Up. “The gala offers a chance to unwind, connect, and celebrate the innovations driving our industry forward.”
This year’s gala is set to impress with four main categories and 33 awards, recognizing 290 distinguished finalists. Special highlights include the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Hash Queen, Mila Jansen, known for her pioneering contributions to cannabis processing techniques. Additionally, Jorge Cervantes will be honored as a Hall of Fame inductee, celebrating his extensive impact on cannabis cultivation worldwide.
We are also excited to announce that Tommy Chong, legendary cannabis icon, will be presenting the newly established “Tommy Chong Legends of Cannabis Award,” adding a special touch to the evening’s festivities. There will be and onsite consumption area as well as two brand activation bars. All Grow Up delegates that could not make it for the awards are invite to attend the post awards “Meet the Exhibtors” party starting at 8pm.
Voting is open until Thursday, May 9th, 2024, and we encourage everyone involved in the cannabis industry to participate by acknowledging the trailblazers who have made remarkable strides this past year.
