DHydra Technologies Passes Technology Evaluation

DHydra Technologies passed the assessment stages of Technology Evaluation for Sale and Licence Agreement (T.E.S.L.A.). The tier-one, licensed cannabis producer will be acquiring several units of its Rapid Low Thermal Dehydration (RLT) systems for its Canadian facilities.

“Introduction of Dhydra’s patented technology into the cannabis market will enable the industry to look at the product completely differently from a business perspective and from a consumer perspective,” says Ivan Zivkovic, Director of Business Development and Sales. “As Dhydra’s market share increases we believe that we will not only enable the industry to be more efficient at production but we also believe that ultimately the consumers will be left with a superior product when compared to what is being consumed today.”

DHydra Technologies’ patented RLT technology is capable of drying 150 pounds of cannabis in an hour or less (strain dependant). With Rapid Low Thermal Dehydration, licensed producers reliance on existing drying facilities will be eliminated, and the footprint reduced. Yield and revenues increase while energy usage and costs decreased.

The scalable and on-site technology solution for harvesters and growers enables the grower/processor to rapidly dry product without negatively affecting its integrity or its yield.
The RLT Technology will also lend improved flavour and texture to the cannabis products, while preserving the plants’ attributes.
