O'Cannabiz Toronto Conference & Expo Returns this April

Canada’s leading cannabis business-focused conference and tradeshow, O’Cannabiz, announced its return to Toronto April 25th, 26th, and 27th accompanied by its first annual gala awards and new agency of record, RNMKR.

“The show is back, is bigger than ever, and we are super-proud of what our team has produced for 2019,” said Neill Dixon, founder of O’Cannabiz. “Our attendees expect the number one-rated cannabis event in Canada, which includes a business breakfast, breakout sessions, keynotes, a women’s brunch, and of course, the tradeshow floor. Somewhere they can network, learn, and make money. We plan to over-deliver on this expectation.”

New this year is the first annual Gala Awards, slated for the night of the first day, April 25th, at Toronto’s historic Casa Loma, and will recognize the passion, love, and hustle that drives the people, businesses and brands in Canada’s cannabis industry.

“There are a lot of people and brands that are working hard every day to educate, inspire, and change stigmas, and that must be celebrated,” said Dixon. “Thanks to our new partnerships, 2019 is the year that we recognize the astounding accomplishments in this new industry.”

Also new this year to manage media relations is RNMKR, Canada’s leading cannabis communications agency. RNMKR is known for providing narrative creation, media relations, brand strategy, and advisory services to the most prominent cannabis brands in North America and overseas.

“O’Cannabiz is Canada’s opportunity to showcase who we are and what we are capable of on a North American scale,” said Corey Herscu, RNMKR founder and CEO. “RNMKR has worked hard to create — and to have a hand in amplifying — narratives that matter,” said Herscu. “This opportunity with O’Cannabiz means our work is resonating with the industry, and we can’t wait to combine creative forces.”
