Lift & Co. Strengthens Executive Leadership Team With the Appointment of Jon Kamin as Chief Revenue Officer

Lift & Co. Corp. announced the appointment of Jon Kamin to the position of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Mr. Kamin is a proven operator with over 15 years of experience relevant to the Company’s strategy, having led a number of companies and business units through strong growth and dramatic transformations, consistently driving customer and revenue growth for digital and data businesses throughout his career.

Until August 2018, Mr. Kamin held the position of Chief Executive Officer at viadata.io, a ground-breaking source of first-party digital user data for a variety of enterprise clients in financial services, direct-to-consumer insurance, and retail. The company was a result of a transformation from yconic.com, a longstanding leader in Canadian student-segment marketing where Mr. Kamin was Managing Director, and which was successfully sold to Leger Market Research. Prior to this, Mr. Kamin held the role of General Manager of the Non-Automotive Business Unit at autoTRADER.ca, where he delivered successful customer and revenue growth of +65% over a three-year period. Mr. Kamin also held a variety of positions at Torstar Corporation, culminating in his leadership of the company’s digital automotive portfolio. Prior to Torstar, Mr. Kamin was a Consultant at Bain & Company, a leading strategy consulting firm. Mr. Kamin holds an MBA from the Rotman School at the University of Toronto.

“We are extremely pleased to add Jon to our executive ranks as he brings a unique set of skills that include sales, marketing, partnerships and data-centric product development to our team,” said Matei Olaru, CEO of Lift & Co. “As we continue to accelerate our transformation into a global leader and become ingrained throughout cannabis’ consumer packaged goods value chain, it is imperative to continually attract successful talent from non-endemic, yet characteristically similar fields to modernize this industry towards CPG. Jon shares our company’s values and brings a tremendous amount of experience and success in scaling high-growth companies to generate significant shareholder value.”

“For several years now, I’ve watched from afar as the Canadian cannabis industry has emerged and taken shape, and it’s my conviction that Lift & Co. is establishing itself as a leader in CPG-like marketing and data innovations in this emerging industry, both in Canada and around the world,” said Jon Kamin, CRO of Lift & Co. “I am extremely excited to bring my growth and monetization experience to this team and drive shareholder value from day one.”

Mr. Kamin has assumed direct P&L ownership of the Company’s four platform revenue streams of Consumer Marketing, Trade Marketing, Data Insights and Event Marketing, with a mandate to scale revenue, advance platform integration and increase competitive positioning domestically and internationally.
