Former British American Tobacco Senior Executive Joins LGC Capital

LGC Capital Ltd. has appointed Mr. Remy Di Meglio, a Swiss based, former senior tobacco executive, as a senior advisor. Mr. Di Meglio, brings extensive experience to the LGC team and its investee companies from the global tobacco sector, having served 27 years with British American Tobacco with last 10 years as:

  • General Manager for BelgiumLuxemburg and the Netherlands, based in Amsterdam in the Netherlands(2014-2018);
  • Regional Head of Other Tobacco Products (OTP) – Europe/Global, based in London in the United Kingdom(2012-2013);
  • General Manager – GCC (KSA, Kuwait, UAE, QatarBahrainOman), based in Dubai in the UAE (2010-2012);
  • Area Marketing and Sales Director (KSA, Kuwait, UAE, QatarBahrainIranIraqSyriaLebanon, Jordon, Palestine, Yemen), based in Dubai in the UAE (2008-2010);
  • Global Head of Brand – Dunhill and Benson&Hedges, based in London in the UK (2008);
