Medical cannabis industry leaders will gather this week in Toronto, Ont., and Moncton, N.B. to consider how Canada can further its renown as a leader in the global cannabis industry. The second annual event, which kicks off today with a speaker series, draws together experts in the science, legal, data, business and wellness industries whose embrace of cannabis as a medical resource helped ready Canada’s debut this year as the first G7 country to legalize it for recreational use.
Business of Cannabis, the industry’s founding media company and event host, welcomes speakers, including:
- Peter Aceto, CEO, CannTrust
- Dr. Lyle Oberg, Chief Policy & Medical Officer, The Flowr Corporation
- Shekhar Parmar, Founder & CEO, Harvest Medicine
- Janet Yale, President & CEO, The Arthritis Society
“Medical Cannabis Week brings together the leaders shaping Canada’s cannabis community. Strainprint is pleased to be among them, connecting patients and companies alike with data and insights crucial to the industry’s evolution,” says Strainprint Technologies Ltd., CEO, Andrew Muroff.
